Masterpiece Builders owner Tom Caruso has been
involved in construction since childhood. His father, a builder,
taught him early on that quality and integrity is foremost when
building a custom home.

Since 1979 each Masterpiece Builders home has been an example
of Tom’s hands on involvement and his ability to assemble
the best craftsmen in the industry and mold them into a high quality,
detail oriented team.
In an area where tested licensing or prior building experience
are not required, Tom’s customers benefit most as a result
of his being a Florida ‘state certified’ general contractor.
The requirements in obtaining this license are rigorous and include;
four years apprenticeship under a licensed contractor culminating
in a four part, twenty hour exam conducted by the Florida Department
of Professional Regulation. Tom maintains this license today through
official Florida mandated continuing education each year.
Tom’s wife Susan, the companies designer, owns sister company
Masterpiece Design, Inc. Her expertise provides Masterpiece Builders
customers an enjoyable experience throughout the decision making
process.
